Named after former Union City Council member Manuel "Shorty" Garcia, this park features two turf soccer fields. Shorty Garcia Park is located next to the Guy Emanuele Elementary School and is open to the public weekends and weeknights. During school hours, Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm, the field is only available with a permit. Pets and food are not allowed.
