Old Alvarado - Cesar Chavez Park

Old Alvarado Park, also known as Cesar Chavez Park (it was dedicated to Cesar Chavez in 1999), is surrounded by local independent businesses and a residential neighborhood. The center of the park features a gazebo used for live events like concerts and weddings. There is also an open grassy field as well as a playground and basketball court. The park has three picnic areas: Elm, Magnolia, and Wisteria. Each picnic area has a number of picnic tables and a barbecue grill. The picnic area and gazebo are available for reservations.
