I've worked with many teens before, and I always have a great time. Why? Well, as teens they usually CHOOSE to pursue music themselves- it's not mom or dad signing them up for something anymore. They are young and willing to learn. Their passion inspires me!
More than ever, young musicians can really do their homework (thanks, YouTube!). They can get excited about great singers past AND present. AND, they can showcase their own voices so, so easily!
There's a lot going on during the school year. Auditions for the musical, the talent show, community theatre...open mic night..you name it! Sometimes a young singer will have a natural gift, but they want to maximize it . That's where I come in!
