THE UNION CITY TRANSIT CENTER

The Union City Transit Center opened in February 2004.  This makes life easier and provides convenient connections to several local and regional bus routes.  The 30,000 square foot transit hub is located near the Alvarado-Niles Road entrance to Union Landing.  It is designed to simultaniously handle up to nine buses.  Union City Transit, AC Transit and paratransit drivers now have easy acess to the facility and its numerous loading areas.
