Video: Wrestling Legends Visit the Tri-Cities

Wrestling icons, from Bret "The Hitman" Hart to The Nasty Boys, hit Newark for the annual WrestleFest.

Wrestling legends visited the Tri-Cities for WrestleFest 2011, an annual fan fest held at the Newark Pavilion Saturday night.

The event is hosted each year by the local independent professional wrestling company Big Time Wrestling.

During the day, hundreds of fans lined up to meet and get autographs from Bret "The Hitman" Hart, Jimmy "Super Fly" Snuka, The Honky Tonk Man, The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase and other wrestlers.

At night, bloodthirsty fans were treated to a smackdown featuring former WWF greats the Nasty Boys, X-Pac, Kevin Nash, Tony Atlas and more. The icons squared off against local BTW wrestlers, including Jason Styles, Ryan Von Kool and Kimo.

Throughout the evening, the wrestlers paid tribute to Randy "Macho Man" Savage, who died May 20 in a car accident. Macho Man's younger brother, former wrestling star Lanny "The Genius" Poffo, was scheduled to appear at Saturday night's event but canceled after receiving news of his brother's death.
