Union City Basketball Team Rocks Warriors Halftime Show

The Union City-based Bay Area Bossez provided the halftime entertainment at Tuesday's Golden State Warriors game, possibly inspiring the Warriors' amazing comeback win.

If you watched the Golden State Warriors’ incredible comeback against the Toronto Raptors Tuesday night, you may have seen a group of boys putting on an equally impressive show during halftime.

That was the Union City-based Bay Area Bossez, an AAU nonprofit boys and girls basketball team that serves East Bay youth.

The team was invited to provide halftime entertainment at the game, which by halftime wasn’t looking so good for the Warriors. After being down by 27 points in the third quarter, the dubs came back with a fury, winning 112 to 103.

“That was a great comeback by the Dubs and Union City was there to represent,” said Shirl Harrison of the Bay Area Bossez.

“I think the Bossez inspired the Dubs,” Harrison added.
