Girls Water Polo: Logan Defeats Washington, Advances to Semi-Finals
Logan's girls water polo team is just one of four teams left in the 16-team division.
The continued Tuesday night with a 10-8 North Coast Section Division I win over Washington at Miramonte High.
The No. 4 seeded Colts, who entered this year without a Mission Valley Athletic League title or a section playoff victory, have accomplished both and find themselves as one of just four teams left in the 16-team field.
The Colts (23-3) will face top-seeded and East Bay Athletic League champion Monte Vista (18-7) in the semifinals Thursday at Miramonte at 7:30 p.m. The winner will face the San Ramon Valley-Alhambra winner Saturday at Acalanes at 1 p.m. for the NCS title.
