"This fundraiser is extremely important in order to keep the program going, and we'd really love to get the whole community involved," said Puente Language Arts teacher Julie Panebianco.

"With the continued cuts to education here in California, Puente, like many other academic programs, is threatened with having to reduce services just to keep the program alive," she said. "We are trying to make sure that this does not happen to for the program here at Logan, and depend on our fundraisers to raise money for our college and cultural field trips and other Puente events."
