Celebrate Union City Youth Soccer League’s Fall Kick-Off Friday Night

Celebrate the Union City Youth Soccer League and UC Premier’s fall season with a special community event Friday night. 

According to coach Victor Juarez, festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Contempo Park.

The event will feature a parade, carnival games, food vendors, a zumba presentation, face painting and a soccer trick demonstration, among other activities.

Union City Mayor Carol Dutra-Vernaci will commence the celebration for the 35-year-old soccer league, according to Juarez.

Up to 70 recreational and competitive soccer teams will be present and participate in the celebratory parade, which begins at 6:30 p.m.

FALL KICKOFF CELEBRATION SCHEDULE

4:00pm - UCYSL Board Members and booths will begin set up

5:00pm - UCYSL/ UC Premier Players arrive

5:30pm - Present and Introduce our Special Guest from the City of Union City

5:45pm - National Anthem with Boy Scout pack 829

6:00pm - Introduce UCYSL/UC Premier Board and Directors 

6:10pm - Parent, Coach, Player Pledge

6:20pm - "First Kick " with youngest league players

6:30pm - Team Parade begins

6:50-8:30pm-  Gift Basket Raffle, Zumba presentation, DJ music, fundraising food booths, carnival style games, local business booths, soccer trick competition, face painting and more.
