Shop at Fresh & Easy, Raise Money for Kitayama Elementary

Kitayama Elementary School is participating in grocery store Fresh & Easy's "Shop for Schools" contest.

From the Kitayama PTA:

Need to go to the Grocery Store?  Join the Kitayama PTA in our partnership with fresh&easy Grocery Stores.

Parents, teachers, school administrators, friends, neighbors or anyone who would like to support participating schools can collect receipts from purchases made at any fresh&easy store between September 12, 2012 and December 31, 2012.

All receipts that total $20 or more should be turned at the Kitayama Office. For every $20 spent per transaction at fresh&easy store, Kitayama Elementary School will receive a $1 cash donation. For example, a single receipt totaling $39.99 is worth $1, while a single receipt for $40.00 is worth $2, but a receipt for $18.50 is not eligible. You cannot combine the total of the receipts.

But wait, there’s more! If our school raises $500 or more through receipt collection we’ll receive a $50 cash bonus. And the school that raises the most in Arizona and Nevada, and the top two highest-earning schools in California will each get a $5,000 cash bonus!
