What could be more romantic than wining and dining while enjoying views of Sunol through Niles Canyon by train? Valentine’s Day Dining

On Friday, Feb. 10, the Tri-Cities League of Volunteers will be hosting "" to benefit local schools and community groups. The event will be at the Newark Pavillion with 160 seats available. Valentine’s Day Sweet Treats

Searching for something sweet and unique this year? On Tuesday, Feb. 14 head for the Newark Library for the “Sweets for the Sweet” TAG Bake Sale from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The Newark Library’s Teen Advisory Group will be selling baked goods with the proceeds going to Tri-City League of Volunteers, The Alameda County Food Bank, and the Viola Blythe Center in Newark.

Valentine’s Day Crafts

Creative crafters craving cards can stop by the Union City Library this Friday, Feb. 10 at 3:30 p.m. to make some sweet tokens that would make Cupid proud. Parents may have to help younger children and all materials are provided. No need to register ahead of time.

Valentine’s Day Bounce Party

Kids will love to bounce until their heart’s content at Pump it Up in Union City. On Tuesday, Feb. 14, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. drop your kids off for their Valentine’s Day Bounce Party. Cost is $18 per child with each additional sibling is just $15. Kids will laugh, bounce, play and enjoy arts and crafts.

Valentine’s Day Art

Art lovers can shop and bid on the sweetest of all gifts at the Fremont Arts Centre located old historic town of Niles-Fremont.  Now until Feb. 29 amateur art critics can enter to win Valentine’s Day Boutique Raffle. Tickets are $1 each and the winner will go home with a delicious watercolor painting aptly titled “The Last Chocolate” donated by artist Grace Rankin. The winner will be drawn on Sunday, Feb. 12.
