In Photos: Measure H Supporters Brave Weather Through Union City

Parents, students, teachers and community members gathered Saturday morning to show their support for Measure H, .

Marchers assembled at about 9 a.m. in front of with umbrellas and pro- signs. The $180 per parcel tax measure would raise $12 million over a period of four years to help mitigate budget cuts the district faces.

Despite the wet weather Saturday morning, the marchers were in high spirits. Along the way, the marchers were met with support from passing cars honking their horns and waving.

The supporters made their way approximately two and a half miles from Logan down Alavarado-Niles Road to Union Landing where a rally was held at the parking lot. 

"Yes on H!" chants were heard as they decended on the Union Landing rally.

A small stage and PA system was set up in front of Texas Roadhouse, where supporters were called to action to urge people to vote for Measure H.
