Ballet Folklorico to Host Concierto de Primavera Next Month

The concert, full of live music and dance, will be held at the James Logan High School Center for the Performing Arts

The Ballet Folklórico de James Logan High School will present its annual Concierto de Primavera on Saturday, May 18, at the JLHS Center for the Performing Arts. The 7:30 p.m. event is a celebration of live music and dance from various regions of Mexico, and this year’s show also will include a new dance from Puerto Rico, group director and JLHS counselor Jaime Huertas reports. 

Special musical guests include Aguacero-Bomba Music and Dance, Mariachi Mexicanísimo, Harpist Salvador Vásquez and singer Crystal Rosas. Also invited are local children Folklórico groups from Our Lady of Rosary Church, Herencia Méxicana and Flor de México.
