This Week: Homework Help, School Board Meeting, City Council Meeting, Community Meeting and Valentine’s Cards

What's happening around town this week

Here are five things going on this week in Union City that you need to know about:

  • On Monday at 3:30 p.m., homework help is available at the Union City Library for kids grades K-10. This is a free service and there is no need to register ahead of time.
  • Keep on the latest in your child’s school. Check out the New Haven Unified School District School Board meeting on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
  • On Tuesday at 7:00p.m., Union City bi-monthly City Council meeting located at City Hall.
  • This Thursday at 6:00 p.m., the New Haven Unified School District will hold a community meeting. Parents and concerned citizens can voice their opinions to the school district this Thursday at Emanuele Elementary.
  • Have a Valentine’s sweetheart who needs a card? Stop by the Union City Library this Friday at 3:30p.m. to make some sweet tokens that would make Cupid proud. Parents may have to help younger children and all materials are provided. No need to register ahead of time.
