There should be no impact to the Saturday Farmers Market schedule.

The existing mid-block crosswalk by the Post Office will be retrofitted with a button-activated in-road warning lights system jointly with flashing LED pedestrian walk signs. When activated, lights built into the road and on pedestrian walk signs will emit flashing LED lights to alert drivers. During the smarts crosswalk system installation, traffic will be detoured around the street segment (from Watkins Street to Fredi Street).

Temporary "NO PARKING" signs, showing specific construction periods for the various items of work will be posted along affected streets at least 72 hours prior to the construction start date.  The “NO PARKING” restriction will be in effect on dates when the contractor is grinding/completing surface repairs to the existing pavement and during the asphalt overlay.

Vehicles parked on these streets between the project limits during the construction date(s) and time(s) posted will be towed away at vehicle owners’ expense.

Every effort will be made to complete this project with as little disruption as possible. We ask for your cooperation and patience during the course of this work. The City's contractor has been directed to work with the affected residents to cause the least amount of inconvenience.
