News Sources Say There's a Nadia Lockyer Sex-Tape

The Alameda County supervisor and wife of state Treasurer Bill Lockyer has been having a rough month in the press.

As if wasn’t wild enough, news leaked over the weekend that the district supervisor may have been following the typical Hollywood downward spiral. That is, she may have recorded a sex-tape with her meth-addicted lover.

We don’t want to get all TMZ, but if what’s reported is true, it sounds like our elected official will make a fine candidate for the next season of Bad Girls Club.

San Francisco Chronicle columnists Matier and Ross reported Sunday that Nadia Lockyer’s “friend” gave her husband, State Treasurer Bill Lockyer, a copy of the alleged tape several weeks before the Feb. 3 Newark motel assault. Whoever leaked the info to Matier and Ross said Bill Lockyer thought it might be blackmail to stop him from interfering in Nadia Lockyer and her lover’s relationship.

Nadia Lockyer, 40 — who was elected to the Alameda County Board of Supervisors in 2010 and represents Hayward, Newark and Union City and parts of Fremont and Sunol — said later that she was attacked by an ex-boyfriend at the motel and that she had for "chemical dependency and chronic pain" stemming from a past car accident.

According to the San Jose Mercury News, Nadia Lockyer met the man, a 35-year-old San Jose resident, while they were both in rehab in 2010. A not-so-wholesome dude, the Mercury News reports the ex-boyfriend has been picked up for a series of drug charges, including a September arrest for possessing and being under the influence of methamphetamine.

Though it wasn’t initially revealed what the two were doing at the Newark motel at the time of the assault, the Chronicle reports that Nadia Lockyer invited the ex-boyfriend to meet her there. A fight apparently broke out, which the Chronicle’s sources say Nadia Lockyer started, and police were called about 2:40 a.m. She suffered from head and neck injuries. The ex-boyfriend has not be charged with any crimes stemming from the assault, the newspaper said.

Here’s what else the Chronicle had to report from this bizarre love triangle:

  • After receiving the tape, Bill Lockyer went to Alameda County District Attorney Nancy O’Malley in an effort to get prosecutors to bar the ex-boyfriend from contacting his wife, believing she was being stalked by him. However, an investigation, which included an interview with Nadia Lockyer, revealed the two had a consensual relationship, which was supported by text messages and explicit photos on Nadia Lockyer’s computer.
  • According O’Malley, her office “had nothing at all about a tape and blackmail.”
  • O’Malley also said Nadia Lockyer had recently lost a good amount of weight and appeared to be “in crisis.”
  • Bill Lockyer also tried to contact the ex-boyfriend’s father to destroy any copies of sex videos or photos that might be on the ex-boyfriend’s computer.
  • The ex-boyfriend and Nadia Lockyer’s relationship began more than a year ago and that the two have been in contact even after the Feb. 3 assault, according to the newspaper’s sources.
