Voters in the newly formed 20th Assembly District will vote for one of five congressional candidates today, with the top two moving on to the general election in November.

The top two can come from any political party. With three Democrats in the race, there is a chance that two could go head-to-head in November.

The district includes Union City, Hayward, Castro Valley, San Lorenzo, Ashland, Cherryland, Fairview, Sunol and north Fremont.
