Forum for Union City
The League of Women Voters of Fremont, Newark & Union City will present a forum on the New Haven School District parcel tax and the State Assembly candidates.
The forum will begin with New Haven School Board President, Michelle Matthews explaining Measure H from 7:00 to 7:30 pm. Then candidates for the 20th State Assembly will be interviewed from 7:30 to 8:30 pm. Candidates Sarabjit K. Cheema, Mark Green, Jennifer Ong, Bill Quirk and Luis Reynoso, will face off. Newly redrawn 20th Assembly District includes Hayward, Union City, Castro Valley, San Lorenzo, and Fremont (partial).
