Union City residents will have a chance to hear from individuals running for city and school governing boards next week.
On Monday and Wednesday, the League of Women Voters of Fremont, Newark and Union City will hold several forums for candidates running for the Alameda County Board of Supervisors District 2, 25th State Assembly, New Haven Unified School Board of Education and Union City Council.
Forums, hosted by the League of Women Voters of Fremont, Newark and Union City, are scheduled as follows:
Monday, Sept. 24 at Union City Council Chambers, 34009 Alvarado-Niles Rd. in Union City
- 7 p.m.: Supervisors
- 8:15 p.m.: Union City Council Candidates
Wednesday, Sept. 26 at New Haven Administrative Offices, 34200Alvardo-Niles Rd. in Union City
- 7 p.m.: New Haven Unified School Board of Education Candidates
- 8 p.m.: 20th Assembly Candidates
