City Fees Rise to Keep Up With Inflation

Municipal fees for everything from photocopies at City Hall (24 cents) to a business license for a pool hall ($77 a table) are set to rise in July.

On Tuesday, the Union City City Council will vote to raise fees for city services in order to keep pace with inflation, which was 2.4 percent between April 2012 and April 2013.

The fees charged for waste management will not increase.
