Union City Man Wanted in Modesto Attempted Murder Case

Josue Emmanuel Pulido, 21, is suspected of shooting a cigarette store clerk in Aug. 2011, according to media reports.

 

Modesto police are still searching for a Union City man wanted on suspicion of attempted murder in an August 2011 case.

According to the Modesto Bee and Stanislaus Area Crime Stoppers, 21-year-old Josue Emmanuel Pulido is one of three men wanted in an Aug. 29 robbery and shooting at a Modesto cigarette store.

The Modesto Bee reports that Pulido and two others robbed Wally's Discount Cigarettes at gunpoint. During the robbery one of the men fired a gun, wounding a 20-year-old store clerk.

Pulido is described as a Hispanic male about 5-foot-6 and 200 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
