Union City Has a New Emergency Notification System

Union City residents can now get notifications of emergencies or critical information via voice message, text message or email by registering to CityWatch® Notification Systems.

Union City has joined CityWatch® to send notifications or to ask for the public’s help. These types of notifications include the description of a lost child, the need to evacuate, or information about police or fire activity in the area.

CityWatch® uses the 911 database and only land-line numbers are automatically included in their system. If you have a cell phone or email you would like the notifications to be sent to, register those telephone numbers or email addresses on the Union City Webpage by clicking the CityWatch link.
