Missing Union City Teen Returns Home

The at-risk 14-year-old boy who went missing Wednesday night returned home Thursday morning.

An at-risk teenager who went missing Wednesday night returned home this morning, Thursday, around 7 a.m., Union City police said.

The boy, 14, left home around 10 p.m. last night after arguing with his mother over homeworkΒ and grades, police said.

His parents were concerned about his safety because he has been diagnosed with Asperger's syndromeΒ and suffers from depression, police said.

According to a report in the Fremont Argus, authorities weren't sure where the boy spent the night, but he walked back home this morning.
