The driver lost control of the Mercedes and crashed into several parked cars, including one that was occupied. A female in the parked vehicle sustained minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment, according to Fremont police.

After the crash, both the driver and passenger fled on foot into the shopping center.

After a short chase, officers arrested an 18-year-old Oakland woman.
