Man Stabbed in Eastin Elementary Parking Lot

The 28-year-old victim sustained life-threatening injuries.

A 28-year-old Union City man sustained life-threatening injuries after being stabbed multiple times in the Eastin Elementary School parking lot last Thursday morning. 

According to the Union City Police Department, officers responded to the school parking lot at about 5 a.m. after a witness reported the assault. The witness told police that an adult male beat up the victim, then drove away in an unknown vehicle.

Arriving officers found the victim laying on the ground and suffering from multiple stab wounds to the torso. He was unconscious but breathing, police said.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
