Man Found Fatally Shot in Motel Room

Officials have not yet been able to determine the man's identity.

A man was found shot to death in a motel room in Hayward last Thursday morning and police are trying to track down his killer, a police sergeant said today.
Motel staff found the man shot in the head in a room in the 21000 block of Foothill Boulevard at 11:50 a.m. Thursday, police Sgt. Mark Ormsby said.
Investigators are following up on several leads but have not identified any suspects. Ormsby said that the Alameda County coroner's bureau has so far been unable to confirm the man's identity.

No, in Pleasanton it is Foothill Road. That address when Googled shows Hayward. If it was a Pleasanton or San Leandro story, I would have it on those sites for you guys. Sorry, Zo left long ago and after the Patch layoffs, I am the one editor for 16 East Bay sites, including this one.

Theres also a Foothill, parallel to 580, by Miramar, in unincorporated San Leandro, with lots of sleazy motels and major, regular police actions for drugs and assaults. I would bet my money this is where they're talking about. This Foothill should have been an extension of Foothill in Hayward but is interrupted by 580/238 interchange

The Budget Inn is one of them.
