A Union City man died Sunday morning after he was found unconscious in a trashcan on the 33900 block of 10th Street, police said.
According to the Union City Police Department, Joshua Gonzalez-Perez, 21, of Union City, was found at about 6:30 a.m. when a resident of the home went to take out the trash. When she opened the trashcan, she found Perez inside.
There were no visible injuries, said Sgt. Victor Derting.
Police and medical units responded to the scene and transported Gonzalez-Perez to a local hospital, where he eventually succumbed to his injuries.
According to a KTVU report, Gonzalez-Perez was a family friend to those at the address and occasionally lived there.
The trash can that Gonzalez-Perez was found in did not belong to the home.
Police are treating the suspicious death as a serious crime, Cmdr. Ben Horner told KTVU Monday morning.
A memorial for Gonzalez-Perez has been put in place at the home where he was found, readers said.

No Laughing here, just some Facts. Not to be confused with the Treasure Hunters! They Typically don't Jump into the cans themselves.

I'm sorry, I didn't realize this was a Church and that I needed to behave myself accordingly. Last time I checked it was a News Article and I was tossing in some Facts. If this overly bothers you, then perhaps you should seek Help from a Qualified Shrink to "Talk it out". If my Intent were to be Disrespectful, Trust me I could have typed far worse things. Also be sure to Note that I have not Commented on the other Article where his Family Members have turned it into a Virtual Memorial. Do you see the difference yet between the two Pages? One is Reporting the NEWS, while the other is seeking Tears of Sadness.
