Logan Student Arrested For Passing Out Weed-Laced Rice Krispies Treats at School

Police said the teenager passed out the treats to classmates last week without telling them they were laced.

A James Logan High School student was arrested last week after passing out weed-laced Rice Krispies Treats at school, police said.

According to the Union City Police Department, officers responded to the school at about 2:35 p.m. on Oct. 4 following a report of a student passing out the laced treats to classmates.

The classmates were unaware that the treats contained marijuana, police said.

The student was arrested at the school.

No one was injured as a result of the accidental eating of the tainted treats, police said.
