The suspects are believed to have been involved in a string of five armed robberies that took place at fast food restaurants and convenience stores in Union City, Fremont and Hayward last month, Veteran said.

The armed robberies included and on Whipple Road in Union City. According to Union City police, the 7-Eleven robberies occurred on March 5 and 9.

The suspects are also believed to have robbed a McDonald’s in Fremont and a KFC in Hayward between March 13 and 19, Veteran said.

All armed robberies were takeover style in which employees and patrons were ordered to the ground. In at least two of the robberies, the clerks were pistol-whipped, Veteran said.

Veteran could not confirm if the suspects were involved in a Union City KFC robbery on March.
