Dumpster Fire Extinguished Quickly by Alameda County Fire Department

There is something more than desire burning in Union City this Valentine's Day

According to one of our Patch tipsters, around 12:15 p.m. this afternoon, a fire started inside a dumpster at the Monterra Terrace apartment complex off Alvarado Niles Boulevard near Osprey Drive.

Alameda County Fire Department arrived shortly after the fire started and quickly extinguished the contained blaze.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
