CHP Issues High Wind Advisories for Dumbarton, Other Bay Area Bridges

The Bay Area is forecast to be breezy today, with rain likely and isolated thunderstorms expected.

Bay City News—High wind advisories are in effect for several Bay Area bridges this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

An advisory was issued for the Benicia-Martinez Bridge at about 3 a.m. and advisories for the San Mateo-Hayward, Dumbarton, and Bay bridges continue from early this morning.

The Bay Area is forecast to be breezy today, with rain likely and isolated thunderstorms expected.

Some thunderstorms may produce small hail. Highs are expected to be in the mid-50s, with west winds of around 20 mph increasing to 30 mph in the afternoon.
