An anonymous bomb threat briefly shut down the Union Landing Walmart early Friday evening.
According to Sgt. Victor Derting of the Union City Police Department, the store received a generic bomb threat at about 5 p.m.
Multiple police and emergency units responded to the store.
Everyone inside the store was evacuated and a perimeter was set up around the parking lot.
Authorities conducted a search but no threat or danger was found, Derting said.
The area was cleared in about 30 minutes, according to Derting.
