Why Do You Love The San Francisco Giants?

The San Francisco Giants head to the National League Championship Series Sunday.

You never know what to expect when it comes to the San Francisco Giants.

In the National League Division series, the team kept baseball fans that bleed black and orange at the edge of their seats.

After losing two home games, it was good ol’ Giants torture, but the 2012 team never gave up.

Before Game 3, Hunter Pence spoke words of inspiration that echoed in the ears of Giants fans everywhere and seemed to wake up the Giants' offense.

"Play for each other! Win each moment! Win each inning!" Pence told his teammates.

And the Giants did just that. They head to the National League Championship Series and will face the St. Louis Cardinals at home on Sunday. The game begins at 5 p.m.

But why do we love the San Francisco Giants this season?

Is it because of Matt Cain’s perfect game? Perhaps it was Buster Posey’s grand slam in Game 5 of the NL Division Series.

Everyone has his or her own reasons.

So tell us: Why do you love the San Francisco Giants? Share your reasons in the comments section below.

No Brian Wilson...Tim Lincecum was not the "Freak" this past season...The Melkmen disappeared. Less drama and torture during the regular season BUT we were not disappointed in the first round of the playoffs. Major TORTURE and DRAMA. But we BELIEVE and we move on...GO GIANTS!

Lincecum had an of year but he redeemed himself in Cinci in relied of Zito. The Melkman turned out to the the "Juice-man" but they can win without him. Yes, Go Giants... hope the Yankees come back in their ALCS without Jeter. How sweet would a Giants/Yankees WS be?
