Union City Resident George Edward Dijeau Dies.

George Edward Dijeau, Colonel Civil Air Patrol, WWII Veteran pilot and step Brother in Law to Former Mayor of Union City "Oscar Dowe" , Passed away on December 26, 2013 at Washington hospital in Fremont, California.  One of the 13 original pilots for Transocean Airlines and a California Native, he was also a 76 year member of the IBEW Local 595, Alameda County.  He was 99 years old and I know many of you who live in Union City and Fremont Knew Him,  member of the ELKS, MOOSE, TALOA and CAP, he was active until his last year of declining health.

               at 2930 Bennitt Valley Road, Santa Rosa, California 95405

                              on January 10, 2014 at 1:00 PM
