Union City Death Notices
A long-time teacher who lived in Union City and passed away recently
Wayne Rhoades, a resident of Union City, was raised on a farm in Nebraska. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War Two. He taught for 38 years in public schools that included San Leandro High and Chabot College. Rhoades died on July 7 at the age of 87.
