With just two weekends to go until Christmas now would be a good time to bundle up the family and take a driving tour of local holiday light displays.

If you're looking for where to go, the Bay Area's best known lights site, California Christmas Lights (formerly Lights of the Valley) offers easy address look-up and a map-a-route feature.

The donations-funded site, run for 15 years by Livermore resident Alex Dourov, also gives the scoop on everything from must-see houses to walkable neighborhoods and displays with music.

Here's a list of what's currently posted for the Tri-Cities. Visit the site to add a house or post an address in the comments below.

Thanks for using my website as the base for people to find the best Christmas displays in the Tri-City area. The website is a strictly volunteer effort and I put in about 150 hours each season (Nov-Dec) into the upkeep and updating of the website – to maintain accuracy about which houses are ‘to the max’ and up to my standards. Again, thanks and Merry Christmas to your staff

No problem, Alex. Thanks for taking the time to create and maintain the website. I know our readers find it very useful, and we've been sharing your website across the various Patch sites in the Bay Area. Happy holidays to you, too!
