The League of Volunteers is organizing a Thanksgiving Day event for people in the Tri-City area who want to spend the day giving back to the community.

The Newark-based non-profit organization is hosting a feast that includes dinner and entertainment.  It needs help to make that happen. The 25th annual “Tri-City Thanksgiving” event offers a variety of ways people can donate their time to make the day special for others.

Volunteers will be cooking and serving food, coordinating craft activities for children, as well as delivering meals to homebound people. For more information, call 510-793-5683.

The League of Volunteers is headquartered at 8440 Central Ave, Suite A/B in Newark, California.
