Teens and adults from all over the Bay Area came out to put their skateboard skills to the test at 4141 Skateboards and Union City Leisure Services' Ultimate Battle for Supremacy competition. Domestic workers throughout the state, including many from Union City with the help of the local Filipino Advocates for Justice, are pushing for a domestic workers Bill of Rights. We'll have a full story this week as they get ready to head to the capitol on April 13.

As well, Eugene Ramos, the man charged with sexually assaulting a toddler inside of Dollar Tree in December, is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, April 15 for a report on his mental state. On March 25, a judge deemed him mentally incompetent to stand trial after a break down in court where Ramos was unresponsive to questions from the judge, his attorney and interpreter.
