A list of resources to report flooding, downed power lines and more in Fremont, Newark and Union City.

UPDATE NOV. 30, 8:51 a.m.: Heavy rains hit the Tri-Cities again Friday morning, causing a mudslide in Niles Canyon, knocking out power and causing flooding in various areas throughout Fremont, Newark and Union City.

PG&E urges customers to report power outages by calling 800-743-5002. Any downed power lines should be reported by calling 9-1-1.

To prevent flooding, sandbags are available to residents in the Tri-Cities.

If a tree is knocked down, residents are encouraged to report them to the following departments: 

  • In Fremont, call the City of Fremont's Maintenance Services Department at 510-979-5700. Click here for a full list of numbers to call, including services needed for storm drains and traffic signals. 
  • In Newark, call the City of Newark's Maintenance Division at 510-578-4806.
  • In Union City, call the City of Union City's Public Works Department at 510-675-5305.
