The National Weather Service predicts showers this afternoon with possibly heavier rain tonight. There will also be winds up to 15 miles per hour with gusts as strong as 20 miles per hour.

Forecasters also expect showers to soak the East Bay on Tuesday with the winds easing up a bit.

Clearer skies are predicted for Wednesday. The forecast calls for a partly sunny day with highs in the mid-60s.
