Labor Dispute to Halt Garbage Service Thursday and Friday

City officials said garbage services will resume next week.

From the City of Union City

Union City residents will be without garbage service on Thursday, April 4 and Friday, April 5 due to a labor dispute between Teamsters and Allied Waste/Republic Services.

Residents should not place garbage (blue) cans out for pick up during these two days.  However, green waste (green) and recycling (grey-brown) cans will be picked up by Tri-CED Recycling.
