SPECIAL IMMUNIZATION CLINIC

Where/When: Logan Health Center; Wednesday and Thursday, April 6 and 7, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Why Go: The District is asking that all current sixth through 11th grade students provide proof of Tdap immunization before Monday, May 16. For students whose families do not have health insurance or whose health insurance does not cover immunizations, come to a special Tdap immunization clinic during spring break.

Where/When: Ardenwood Historic Farm; Saturday, April 9 from 11 a.m. to noon

Why Go: Take your family to explore the foliage with informative staff at the farm and learn what leaf goes with which tree.

Where/When: Ardenwood Historic Farm; Sunday, April 10 from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Why Go: Take your children ages 1 to 6 to learn the six parts of a plant through song and dance, and let them turn into plants for the day!

Pricing: $1-$5

NILES DEPOT MUSEUM 

Where/When: Niles Depot Museum in Fremont; Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Why Go: The museum focuses on early railroads of Fremont, Newark, and Union City and includes equipment and photographs from Niles Tower, operating railroad signals and passenger train uniforms and artifacts.

Pricing: Free

SUNDAY AFTERNOON ART SERIES

Where/When: Mac Gregor School Auditorium in Newark; Sunday, April 10 at 2 p.m.

Why Go: Enjoy the Celtic harp and storytelling of Patrick Ball.

Pricing: Suggested donation of $2-$8
