3. HOUSTON JONES CONCERT

Where/When: Mission Coffee Roasting Company, Fremont; Saturday 7 to 9:30 p.m.

Why Go: Unwind from a busy week with a warm beverage while listening to a live perfomance by the band Houston Jones.

4. CITY OF  DUBLIN 2011 ST. PATRICK'S DAY CELEBRATION

Where/When: Dublin Civic Center; Saturday and Sunday, March 12 and 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Why Go: Enjoy Irish drink and food, shop for authentic Irish wares and crafts, learn the Irish jig or how to play a pennywhistle and kiss the Blarney Stone. There's a parade and firemen's breakfast too.

Pricing: No admission fee

Where/When: MacGregor School Auditorium in Newark; Sunday at 2 p.m.

Why Go: Experience the sounds of George Komsky, protégé of famous vocal coach Seth Riggs and a semi-finalist on America’s Got Talent.
