A fundraiser to support a continuing search for missing nursing student Michelle Le will be held Friday in Hayward.
The fundraiser will be held from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Sizzler’s restaurant, 24107 Hesperian Blvd., Hayward.
Approximately 20 percent of the day’s profits will go toward the family’s search campaign for Le, said Krystine Dinh, Le’s cousin and a family spokesperson, in an email.
To participate, guests who dine are asked to present a “MISSING” flier of Le or let the server or hostess know about Le’s case.
The family is also planning two search parties, tentatively scheduled for July 15 and 16, while a fundraiser car wash is planned from noon to 6 p.m. on July 29 at Sizzler.

Though Hayward police investigators have , her family continues to hold hope for her safe return.
Le is described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes. The Hayward Police Department has set up a tip line for anyone with information that could help with the case; that number is 510-293-5051.
