Sprouts & Shutters: Buffalo Wild Wings Coming to Union City

The Union City location would make it the first Buffalo Wild Wings in the Tri-Cities.

Union City may have lost a rib joint, but it will soon earn some wings. 

According to the City of Union City, popular restaurant and sports bar Buffalo Wild Wings has a preliminary application to remodel the former Tony Roma’s at Union Landing, located at 32135 Union Landing Blvd. directly across from the Century 25 Theaters.

Though the project is still pending, it should move forward soon, City of Union City’s Communications Manager Rhea Serran said.

No tentative opening date has yet been announced.

The Union Landing location would make it the first Buffalo Wild Wings in the Tri-Cities. Currently, the nearest locations are in Dublin, San Ramon and San Jose.

Buffalo Wild Wings, which boasts more than 800 locations across the country, is known for its lively atmosphere and spicy chicken wings, which come in a variety of 20 flavors and seasonings. The restaurant and sports bar also serves burgers, salads, wraps, sandwiches and more.
