Last Chance to Vote for Your Favorite Businesses in Town

From the best car repair shop to the best dentist, help Union City Patch pick winners in each of our Readers' Choice categories. Voting ends this Friday.

This is your last week to vote in our contest, which closes Friday. We've got 23 different categories with just about everything you can think of, from the to the in town (see all categories below).

Since the contest kicked off three weeks ago, a number of you have cast your votes, left comments and rated your favorite business. While voting is a little skimpy, there are some tight races. A few of the highlights:

  • The most exciting race in the contest caught us a little by surprise. Apparently, folks are very, very passionate about the , with Joanne Brown Dancers and Tehani Dance Studio brawling it out. The contest has racked up more than 100 votes total, with a number of reviews for each business. 
  • Chaplin's Sports Bistro, with it's modern ambiance, numerous TVs and craft brew selection, might not be a match for old school local haunt Jim's Cocktail Lounge in the contest. Both are tied for the most votes. While it may not be popular with the younger crowd, for at least one reader, "." What's your go-to for a drink?
  • There's some beef in the battle. It's a tight race with Fuddrucker's and Giant Burger tied for the most votes, with Baldie's and In-N-Out trailing right behind.
  • And there's only one vote for the . What, y'all don't get haircuts?
