As it turns out, the big box chains at Union Landing got little play from our readers. Instead, Union City Patch users favored the stylish, Cheers-esque newcomer , which received 39 percent of the votes in our poll, three five-star ratings and two reviews.

Trailing Chaplin’s in this week’s contest was. Despite its popularity — it’s packed elbow-to-elbow weekend nights — the Union Landing restaurant received only 18 percent of the votes in the week’s polls and no reviews or ratings.
