Crammed to capacity, the school celebrated its annual Gallery Night, where the school became a museum for 900 students.

All of the work was created during the school's parent-led Art Vistas program that brings art history and instruction to students in grades K-5. Eastin is the only school in the New Haven Unified School District with the program, which is completely supported by parents and its 140 parent volunteers.

Some of the artwork was also available for auction, with proceeds to benefit the Art Vistas program.
