EVERYONE IS INVITED to come and enjoy Southern Alameda County Buddhist Church’s Buddhist Festival of Obon.
We will have Buddhist Dancing, Japanese Music, an O Nami Taiko Drum Performance and Japanese Foods. FUN FOR EVERYONE!!!
Colorful kimono-clad participants gather for the Obon dance - a memorial day for our departed beloved ones and a day to give thanks to them. With deep felt joy and gratitude, we honor and remember our deceased loved ones whose very existence made our own lives
possible.

Obon Dance Practices:
At 7:30 pm on 7/30, 7/31, 8/02, 8/06, 8/08, 8/09 in the Sangha Hall at SACBC. Everyone welcome. (OPTIONAL - It is not necessary to attend practices in order to come to the Obon Festival and join the fun.)
