Tri-City Animal Shelter to Hold Free Pet Adoption Saturday

Tri-City Animal Shelter in Fremont will participate in the 3rd Annual Maddie's Matchmaker Adoption Event on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

From the  Fremont Police Department:

Are you ready to welcome a new family member into your home? Well then, this is the weekend to do it!

On Saturday, June 9, 2012, the Tri-City Animal Shelter in Fremont will be participating in "Maddie's Matchmaker Adoptathon". Sponsored by Maddie’s Fund®, Maddie’s Matchmaker event is aimed at finding homes for all shelter dogs and cats by building community collaborations where animal welfare organizations come together to develop successful models of lifesaving. In total 62 groups will hold adoptions in more than 80 locations throughout Alameda, Contra Costa and San Francisco Counties this weekend.

All adoptions will be FREE during this event and it is open to the general public. The Shelter will expand its’ hours from 10:00 am – 7 pm for this one day event.
